The following materials are accepted at our facility and all of our drop-off locations:
Paper
newspaper, junk mail, office paper, shredded paper (bagged), magazines, phonebooks,
No brown paper bags, cardboard, or paperboard.
Cardboard
corrugated cardboard, paperboard, brown paper bags, manila envelopes
No waxed produce boxes, milk cartons, or soy milk/juice containers.
#1 Plastic Bottles
Bottles ONLY
No clamshells, cups, take out containers, salad containers, etc.
#2 Plastic Bottles
Bottles ONLY
No plastic bags or non-bottle shaped containers.
#5 Plastic
Cups, tubs, and containers
No Styrofoam, PVC pipe, or #3, #4, #6, or #7 plastics.
Mixed Rigid Plastics #2 and #5
Buckets, patio furniture, baby pools, toys, and totes
No Styrofoam, PVC pipe, or #3, #4, #6, or #7 plastics.
Steel
soup cans, empty aerosol cans, empty paint cans, small empty propane canisters
No scrap metal or five-gallon propane tanks.
Aluminum
soda cans
Clear Glass Bottles and Jars
No plate glass, Pyrex, ceramics or mirrors.
Colored Glass Bottles and Jars
No plate glass, Pyrex, ceramics or mirrors.
The following materials are accepted at the Sedona Recycles facility ONLY:
Please do not leave these items at the drop-off locations. These items are accepted inside our facility during business hours only.
Aluminum foil and pans
Must be clean and dry.
Batteries
It is $1/pound to drop off your batteries here. We now accept cards if you don’t carry cash.
Egg cartons
Eyeglasses and sunglasses
Packing materials
Bubble wrap, padded mailers, packing peanuts..

- Plastic bags of any kind (please take to local grocery stores for recycling)

- Foam cups, takeout containers, and meat trays
- #3, #4, #6, or #7 plastics
- Electronics (we no longer accept electronics for recycling as of 2022)
- Waxed cardboard
- Milk cartons, plant milk cartons, and ice cream containers
- Plate Glass
- Ink and toner printer cartridges
- Mirrors
- Light Bulbs
- Paint
- PVC pipe
- Motor Oil
- Household chemicals
Polystyrene Foam Blocks
May 31, 2023 will be the final day that Sedona Recycles, Inc. accepts Styrofoam.
