Last month Sedona Recycles signed a two-year deal with the Town of Camp Verde to provide local recycling.
Last week, in return, Sedona Recycles made the process twice as convenient.
The nonprofit, which celebrates 20 years in business next year, has maintained recycling bins at Camp Verde High school for years. Now they have installed new bins at the Outpost Mall, better known to locals as the Bashas' shopping center.
Sedona Recycles accepts newspaper, cardboard, glass, plastics, aluminum and steel.
Plastics must be marked with the triangular "chasing arrows" with numbers 1 through 7 inside the triangle.
In addition they have purchased a new Mack front-loader truck and more efficient bins that will require less transportation to and from the recycling center.
Sedona Recycles currently maintains over 80 recycling bins throughout the Verde Valley.
